A New Generation of Leadership

In 2025, voters made their voices heard — electing leadership that stands for our values. Danny Ciesler and Siddiq Kamara earned wins in Bucks and Delaware Counties because they campaigned on integrity, action, and service to their communities. On the judicial front, Pennsylvanians also reaffirmed their faith in a fair and independent judiciary by retaining Justices Christine Donohue, Kevin Dougherty, and David Wecht on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. These justices will continue to uphold Pennsylvania’s laws and protect the rights of all residents as part of a balanced and experienced court

We are not waiting for change: we’re organizing, mobilizing, and stepping up to make it happen. Danny and Siddiq are part of a new wave of public servants bringing accountability, innovation, and service back to local government. This cycle, we are committed to electing a generation of leaders who will lead with courage, competence, and dedication. The time for change is now.

In 2021, Siddiq’s eight-year-old cousin, Fanta, lost her life due to the actions of improperly trained law enforcement officers—an unimaginable tragedy that has left a lasting impact on Siddiq and his family.

As a former member of the Pennsylvania National Guard, a former Police Officer, and a Special Agent with the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General, Siddiq has gained a clear understanding of the challenges and potential within law enforcement. Through these roles, Siddiq has seen firsthand the positive impact that trust, transparency, and community-centered approaches can have on public safety and community relationships. These values will be the cornerstone of his service as Sheriff.

Retention elections play a vital role in maintaining public trust by giving voters the opportunity to evaluate whether justices have upheld the principles of fairness, independence, and respect for the rule of law. These elections reinforce the expectation that the judiciary remains transparent, accountable, and committed to applying the law evenly and thoughtfully for all who come before it.
